Buying habits have changed beyond recognition. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to establish what channel of communication has affected a consumers’ propensity to buy. We live in the age of the “internet enabled buyer” which has had a profound impact on the way in which an agency operates. Marketing communications need to take a seamless journey from online to purchase, whether through click-to-buy, sales meetings or in store and this Creative Director role is responsible for making sure that happens.
As Creative Director you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a talented team of art directors, copywriters and designers. The creative resource is the most valuable element of the agency’s client service offering which makes this a position of significant responsibility. We are looking for strategic thought leader. Your success will be measured by your ability to operate at both a creative and strategic level, all the time keeping one eye on the brief in collaboration with the agency’s account team. Your team will work across a number of marketing solutions channels from digital to POS, from retail to B2B lead generation and as such you need to understand and have worked in a truly integrated environment, possibly with a background in planning.
Your creative excellence is a given however it is your ability to plan and to lead which will set you apart in this process, as well as your level of digital expertise.
You must have a demonstrable track record of success in leading account growth and development with a strong commercial attitude to applied design and ideally some experience of the technology sector.
In return you can expect to operate at board level in a business that has a desire and an expectation to grow considerably over the next five years.
