This is your opportunity to step away from being “just another Associate Director” within a digital media agency and to become a leading digital expert for a division of a global media agency. Their client base is impressive and their group digital expertise is significant which means that the support structure is in place to be successful. As an instantly recognisable company the focus of this role will be almost exclusively on their existing client base as opposed to being new business focused.
Here is an opportunity to work across all digital media as well as being the head of all digital display across the agency’s client base.
With a demonstrable track record of success in digital advertising (especially display), you’re likely to have managed and led teams in the past.
Most importantly you will have an absolute passion for digital media strategy and planning. You will understand the importance of client servicing although you won’t necessarily be working in an agency currently (albeit that would be an advantage). We envisage this person to have been an Account Director for between one and 5 years and to be someone who is ready to take the significant step up to become the head of a division.
The work you will be undertaking will be sizable. This means client budgets running into hundreds as opposed to tens of thousands of pounds. Clients who are genuinely keen to spend their money in the digital arena and who recognise the need to change the way they think.
