As the Business Director you will report directly into the main board. You will lead a significant team and have ultimate responsibility for a diverse client portfolio incorporating household brands. The nature of the agency means you will work closely with your client’s marketing departments and have a direct influence on the strategic planning of their media spend.
Being a fully integrated agency, including an in-house creative department, you will work across all media channels, both offline and online. There is already a strong team in place however they still require leadership and direction, which forms a key part of this role.
You will be expected to be an active participant in new business pitches and be able to identify how strategic thinking marries implementation. This agency is all about growth for their clients and as such, everything they do is measurable and has a defined ROI.
It is highly likely that you’ll come from a performance media background, although this it not a prerequisite. You will be numbers focused and enjoy deriving insights from data. Possibly already a Business Director but probably an Account Director poised for your next step up, this is a role that will suit someone with ambition along with a desire for autonomy and big responsibility.
