This is a chance to build and own the marketing function at a high growth SME with ambitions to further expand. They’ve grown to their current size without any formalised marketing function which is a fantastic achievement however they are now at a size where they need to take their marketing activity to the next level. There will be challenges along the way but they like to think the right person will find this exciting and you will have the absolute backing of a very enthusiastic board.
The company have provided a range of marketing services from their Berkshire head office for over 25 years. Initially servicing the property industry the company has expanded to offer a variety of marketing, digital and energy services to a diverse range of companies including Premier League football clubs and charities.
The main focus of the role will be to build a social media and PR plan. Currently social is outsourced and your role will be to take control of this internally and build out a profile across platforms such as (but not limited to) Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. You will also strengthen their corporate credibility and brand communications via a well thought out and delivered PR strategy.
As well as Social and PR you will have more general marketing responsibility, building and executing a short, medium and long term strategy for the company and its two major brands.
Full time it’s likely that you will either have a minimum two/three years’ experience in social marketing and PR or several more years’ experience and considering a role closer to home or on a part time basis.
This role could either be part time or full time and with hours to suit the individuals personal circumstances.
